Propane heaters are a fairly cheap way to heat a small area, or take it away if you need to go to a source of heat. There are a number of different types of propane heaters to fit different needs.
Indoor propane heaters can be installed up to a house, and according to the current energy prices, could be significantly cheaper to operate than an electric heater. You're right, an exhaust system, whether the fuel is burned in the house, but also as a faninstalled to move the hot air.
